London, 30 October 2009:

T-Mobile is offering its prepay customers the chance to enjoy unlimited free access to the mobile internet for life on top of unlimited free texts for life “ just by topping up by £10 or more each month.

Following the success of its groundbreaking free texts for life offer which launched in September, T-Mobile has expanded the deal to include unlimited free internet. Prepay customers will now be able to browse their favourite websites and keep up to date via social networks including Twitter and Facebook, whilst still having unlimited free texts to keep in touch with friends and family. This new offer coincides with the launch of the T-Mobile Pulse, giving prepay customers the opportunity to make the most of the handset’s advanced mobile internet functionality, including pre-loaded Google services.

Helen Wylde, Head of Prepay Marketing at T-Mobile, said: We know how much our customers love surfing the web on their mobiles so we’re incorporating the benefit of free internet into our unlimited free texts for life reward. Originally our unlimited free texts for life offer was available for two months, but it’s been so well received we’re extending and enhancing it.¯

Using the internet and texting won’t eat into the £10 top-up, so credit can be used to call friends and family.  This market-leading monthly top up reward is open to anyone connecting a free PAYG SIM card or buying a PAYG phone from a T-Mobile store or online at www.t-mobile.co.uk/freesim, and topping up by £10.  Customers who joined the unlimited free texts for life reward will automatically receive free internet access as well as unlimited free texts, simply by continuing to top up by £10 every month.

As the first prepay Android handset, the T-Mobile Pulse offers a great value way to keep in touch with friends and family and access the Internet on a mobile phone.  It comes pre-installed with some of the most popular services from Google. Plus there’s an ever-expanding range of applications available to download from the Android Marketplaceā„¢. Navigating the web or browsing through apps is easy thanks to the trackball and the full 3.5¯ colour touch-screen, which cleverly auto-rotates from portrait to landscape depending on the position of the handset.

A fair usage policy of 40 MB per day will apply to the unlimited internet offer. To get unlimited free internet and texts for life, customers need to join T-Mobile by 31st January 2010. In order to keep receiving free texts and internet for life, customers need to top up just £10 each month.
