T-Mobile launches shareAnywhere business app for Android

New application allows business users to share and present image files on the move

London, UK “ 1^st December, 2009:  T-Mobile UK has today launched shareAnywhere, an application on the Androidâ„¢ platform designed to help businesses share information about their products and services with customers and colleagues wherever they are. shareAnywhere will be available free for download onto any device supporting the Androidâ„¢ platform, which includes the T-Mobile G1, G2 Touch and Pulse devices.

 

shareAnywhere was developed following a focus group between T-Mobile and a number of small business customers discussing which applications would make a real difference to their working lives. The application allows business users to present a series of images to customers, colleagues and prospects quickly and professionally on their Androidâ„¢ phone. Mobile workers can synchronise the presentations on the phone with a central web repository (www.share-anywhere.com), which can be controlled and updated by anyone in the office “ ensuring the mobile worker is always using the latest images and files when in the field, and doesn’t have to waste time with regular trips back to the office.

 

A Suit That Fits.com, the world's first online hand-tailored suit company has been piloting the shareAnywhere application. Its mobile sales team travel the country to meet customers and prospects and they wanted a way to quickly demonstrate the most up-to-date information on the different cuts, fabrics, styles and pricing of their suits.  shareAnywhere gives the sales team, or those back in the office, the ability to pick and choose images of different suits to present depending on what they expect the customer will like, rather than having to spend time with the customer searching through the website for the right image. This has led to productivity and efficiency gains as each visit is quicker and more tailored to the customer’s precise needs.
