T-Mobile rewrites the rulebook, and gives customers a boost with its new pay monthly deals

Introduction of new Flexible Boosters offers greater choice and flexibility to customise monthly price plans

 

 

London, 26 January 2010:T-Mobile today announces a new simplified portfolio of pay monthly price plans and launches new Flexible Boosters which allow customers to adapt their plan each month to better suit their needs. T-Mobile is the only operator offering its new pay monthly customers the choice of an inclusive monthly Booster “ unlimited texts, unlimited internet on your phone, international calling, roaming, using your phone abroad, unlimited calls to landlines or unlimited calls to other T-Mobile customers “ to enjoy and change every 30 days for the lifetime of their contract.

 

T-Mobile’s new portfolio means customers can personalise their plan based on the type of handset they want, the way they use their phone and how much they want to spend each month. So if you want the latest smartphone or just to use your mobile for calls and texts, you can now choose a handset and plan which includes the things you use most. And each month you can change your Booster according to your life “ so if you’re going on holiday, select the Roaming Booster or if you like to surf the web, choose the Unlimited Internet Booster.

 

The revamp addresses the insight that consumers feel the mobile market is too complicated and confusing.  The new portfolio offers more choice, made simple by giving customers more control over what they spend their money on “ and making mobile packages transparent.  It also tackles the inflexibility of some deals once the contract is signed, by letting customers change an element of their plan to suit them if their needs change.

 

At the heart of the portfolio is great value.  T-Mobile believes that the latest technology doesn’t have to be the exclusive preserve of those paying large monthly charges. For example, for just £20 per month, customers can enjoy one of the latest Android-based smartphones such as T-Mobile’s G2 or Samsung Galaxy Portal,  300 minutes and 300 texts and their choice of one of the new Flexible Boosters such as international calling or unlimited texts for that month. Flexible Boosters are available on new pay monthly price plans at any price point.
